Position comes from an editorial score combining a venue's Google rating with how many people rated it, using a Bayesian average. A 4.7 from 50 reviews does not automatically beat a 4.4 from 635, because the second is a much stronger signal. Ranking is never sold and no commercial relationship can change a position.
Ratings are re-pulled from Google monthly and every venue is re-checked for whether it is still trading. Venues that close are removed rather than left on the page. This list was last verified on 27 July 2026.
We do not sell ranking positions. Some venues are LocalEnhance clients or paid placements, and each of those is labelled on its own card. Paid placements also carry a rel="sponsored" attribute on their outbound link so search engines can see the relationship.
